About the role
As the Restaurant General Manager for this prestigious Michelin 2-star French fine dining restaurant located in the Central Region, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations. This is a full-time, on-site role that requires your passionate leadership to ensure exceptional customer service and a world-class dining experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Manage and lead a team of talented front-of-house and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional service and culinary experiences
- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that empowers your team to thrive
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth and enhance the restaurant's reputation
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and industry partners
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years' experience in senior leadership roles within high-end or fine dining establishments.
- Previous experience in Michelin-starred restaurants is highly preferred and will be considered a strong advantage.
- Strong business acumen and proven track record in revenue and cost management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
- Deep passion for food, service, and hospitality with knowledge of the latest culinary and service trends.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong understanding of fine dining service etiquette.
