Service Engineer/Technician

Responsiility:

  • To carry out installations, repairs and servicing onboard vessels
  • Technical clarification and structured root cause investigation
  • Provide technical/ helpdesk support
  • Any other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Maritime or related qualifications in Electrical Engineering/Ship Operation Engineer
  • Experience in the field of electrical engineering/automation technology
  • Working onboard ship experience is a must
  • Able to work onboard ship with minimum supervision
  • Able to work in 24/7 and weekends on technical service onboard ships
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer oriented
  • Proficient in MS Office, IT hard and software tools
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • Not afraid to work in a harsh non-aircon below deck of the ship
  • Overseas travels expected
