Job Scope:

Production Technician

  • Built and modified cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and components by following detailed drawings and instructions.
  • Utilized tools such as soldering irons, crimpers, heat guns, solder pots, and pinning machines to perform precise assembly tasks.
  • Cleaned parts prior to assembly and accurately identified wires using color coding.
  • Supported inventory operations, including material handling, cycle counting, and transaction processing.
  • Achieved daily production and quality targets while actively participating in team improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Service Technician

  • Conduct thorough inspections of marine fire safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, fixed firefighting systems, fire detection and alarm systems, breathing apparatus, and lifeboats, adhering to the relevant international regulations and standards.
  • Conducts regular inspections and maintenance on life rafts and launching systems. Tests and repairs lifeboat engines, hoisting mechanisms, and essential systems and ensure all equipment is operational and ready for deployment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and servicing of fire safety equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and rectify faults, malfunctions, and deficiencies in fire safety systems, considering the intense usage and environmental conditions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and certifications, ensuring compliance with local / international documentation requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or certification in fire safety, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Candidates with an experience as Production Technicians in the semiconductor or electronics will be an advantage

  • Entry level are welcome to apply training is provided
  • Possession of a valid Class 3 will be an advantage
