Central Region, Singapore The Tanglin Club Full time $45,000 - $55,000 per year

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conduct and lead scheduled group fitness classes to promote participation and engagement.
  • Provide active gym floor supervision, ensuring safe use of equipment and assisting members with correct techniques.
  • Deliver personal training sessions (maximum 2 hours per shift during working hours) as rostered or approved.
  • Offer professional advice and design workout programmes tailored to members' needs.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service, engaging with members regularly and positively.
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance checks are carried out daily.
  • Support fitness events, challenges, and member engagement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Recognised Fitness Instructor/Personal Training certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, FISAF).
  • Current CPR / AED certification.
  • Experience in leading group fitness classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented, professional, and motivating personality.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time role with rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Minimum 2 group class instruction as part of duties.
  • Maximum 10 hours of personal training permitted per week during working hours.
  • No limit to personal training conducted outside of working hours.
