GYM ASSOCIATE  (ENERGYONE GYM)  at various clubs

Reporting to the Gym Manager and Supervisor, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service to our EnergyOne members, as well as recruitment of new members and retention of current members. You will assist in various tasks ranging from member registration and inquiries to equipment maintenance and facility cleanliness. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, positive, customer-focused, and possess a genuine passion for fitness and wellness.

Key areas of responsibilities and tasks will be as follows:

1. Processing of Membership Application and collection of fees payment
2. Answering of queries at EnergyOne counters & phone calls
3. Ensure proper daily accounting records for daily collections and submissions and follow up on fees in arrears
4. Issuance of locker keys and towels to members and ensure return.
5. Record down faulty locks and inform relevant senior staff.
6. Assist in the housekeeping of the Centre, (dry & wet areas)
7. Ensure compliance to EnergyOne's regulations such as checking for validity of membership
8. Provide membership sales support to achieve monthly membership sales and renewals target
9. Conduct gym tours for potential new members

Requirements:

• Minimum NITEC or equivalent.
• Diploma in Sports Science, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields will be advantageous.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably within the fitness, hospitality, or retail sectors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to multitask
• Customer-focused and service-oriented
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and Public Holidays.
