This role will be critical in elevating X Star's presence and establishing thought leadership within the intersection of the automotive and fintech industries, with a strong focus on lending technology. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in producing high-quality, executive-level B2B events (conferences, roundtables, webinars, etc.), specifically within the fintech or financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities & Skill Refinements

1. Speaker & Executive Acquisition (Crucial for C-Suite Focus)

  • Proven ability to identify, prospect, and successfully recruit Tier 1 speakers and C-Suite executives (e.g., CEOs, CIOs, Heads of Digital/Strategy) from key financial institutions (Banks, Insurers, Lenders) within the FinTech ecosystem.
  • Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with high-level industry influencers and potential speakers to ensure a continuous pipeline of executive participation.

2.  Content Strategy & Thought Leadership

  • Work closely with the Brand Manager to create the entire content lifecycle, from conceptualizing and researching compelling, forward-looking topics (e.g., AI in lending, embedded finance, regulatory shifts) to crafting and polishing final presentation abstracts.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative interviews with confirmed speakers to align their presentation content with the core event narrative and brand messaging.

3.  Event Messaging & Delegate Recruitment

  • Develop and articulate the main event value proposition and core messaging that resonates with a senior-level (C-Suite/VP) audience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Manager teams to provide content-driven material (e.g., speaker quotes, agenda highlights) for all delegate acquisition campaigns (email, social media, landing pages).

4. Event Hosting & On-Stage Confidence (The 'Face' of the Event)

  • Possess strong on-stage presence and exceptional public speaking skills to confidently host, moderate panels, introduce speakers, and conduct live interviews with C-Suite participants.
  • Skilled in managing the flow of live events, including Q&A sessions and time management, while maintaining a highly professional and engaging atmosphere.

5. Event Logistics & Vendor Management

  • Oversee the end-to-end operational execution of events, ensuring seamless logistics, exceptional attendee experience, and adherence to budget.
  • Proficiency in using modern event technology platforms (e.g., virtual event software, registration systems) to maximize event reach and data capture.

Essential Qualifications & Attributes

  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in B2B conference production, event programming, or content curation, ideally within the FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the current trends and challenges in the Fintech landscape, particularly concerning lending, embedded finance, or automotive finance.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of interacting credibly with C-Level executives.
  • Confidence: High degree of professional confidence in hosting events, moderating discussions, and representing the brand publicly.
