Responsibilities:

  • The Client Services Associate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, in supporting our UHNW Clients in their investments (private equity and liquid securities) and private matters (ie. assisting their family administrative matters, etc).
  • This includes handling sensitive financial information, investment legal documents and subscriptions, KYC refresh, capital call and distribution requests, and also ensuring compliance with regulatory filing, overseeing documentation, preparing reports, placing trade orders, real estate cashflow management, and assisting with ad hoc requests.
  • Be a first point for client's bank accounts, assets, and investments portfolio
  • Liaise with private banks, financial institutions, legal and tax advisors, portfolio companies, fund administrators, asset managers, and service providers on behalf of clients
  • Handle banking matters such as account opening, trade placement and execution, liquidity and cash management, asset transfers, and assist with documentation
  • Assist clients with new investment subscriptions paperwork and the next processes such as remittances and post transaction matters such as the handling of capital call and distribution requests, saving of periodic updates and capital account statements, and assisting with KYC matters (minimal)
  • Prepare consolidated Limited Partner (LP) reports (private equity investments) and account statements (public markets investments)
  • Liaise with portfolio companies for business and fundraising updates for LP reports
  • Work with external service providers to structure personalised solutions for clients
  • Assist with clients' ad hoc requests
  • Prepare and update investment portfolio presentations and service offerings for prospective clients
  • Assist with SPV investments and administrative matters
  • Assist with the preparation of SPVs' NAV statements

Requirements

  • A dependable and proactive professional who has experience with the dynamics of supporting UHNW clients and their family assets and portfolio
  • Prior experience in a similar role supporting UHNW clients in asset and wealth management, family office, and/or in the Private Equity industries is preferred
  • Strong familiarity with private banking, wealth management, and investment process (private and public markets)
  • Highly organized, meticulous and attentive to details and to ensure follow-through of task
  • Familiar and comfortable with portfolio statements and reporting
  • Good working knowledge of MS office tools, especially Excel
  • Comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Self-starter, hardworking and resourceful team player
