Transaction Banking Sales / Sales Management Support Intern
Internship Period: 12 January 2026 – 31 July 2026
Job Description:
The Intern will support two teams within the Transaction Banking Office for Asia (TBOA) during the tenure of the internship. They are specifically, Japanese Corporate Sales Team (JCST) and Sales Effectiveness Team (SET).
The incumbent will be required to:
1. Japanese Corporate Sales Team (JCST)
• Support sales representative staff in managing relationship and business development with external Japanese Corporate customers.
• Learn about sales activities & promotion of cash & trade business services to MUFG's Japanese Corporate customers.
• Conduct research on client companies, transaction volume information, prepare sales presentation materials.
• Join any appropriate client visits or online calls for business discussions.
• Follow up on actions to be taken both with internal colleagues and external clients.
2. TBOA Sales Effectiveness Team (SET)
• Support the development of the regional pipelines for TB APAC.
• Support the SET team in producing performance reports and presenting findings during meetings.
• Support the improvement of the current pipeline system through pipeline administration, conduct monthly consolidation of APAC-wide country pipelines, hold internal communication with regional colleagues as required.
• Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for various sales initiatives for management reporting.
Job Requirements:
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and client, fostering strong relationships with clear interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, database management; and Microsoft PowerPoint for creating engaging and professional presentations.

This internship role is based in Singapore. It is open to Singaporean and PR students only. In Singapore, MUFG internship partners include National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore Management University, Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
