About the role:

SIMBA Telecom is Singapore's 4th mobile telecommunications network service provider and is currently building Singapore's newest mobile network.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end payroll process and HR operation activities.

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Manage and execute monthly payroll processing accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions comply with company policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit statutory filings, including CPF, IRAS tax and government paid leave submissions, government surveys.
  • Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide timely responses to employees regarding salary, benefits, and deductions.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in the HRMS system.
  • Involve in recruitment process, inclusive of shortlisting and arranging for interviews, drafting of employment contracts, and onboarding activities.
  • Involve in staff resignation process and off boarding activities.
  • Work pass application and ensuring adherence to MOM quota.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to streamline HR operations.
  • General HR admin task as required.

The candidate should possess the below qualities to fulfil the needs of the role:

  • Candidates possess at least Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management or related field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing;
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of statutory requirements (Eg. Employment Act, CPF Act, Income Tax Regulations etc.);
  • Meticulous, detailed, and able to handle confidential information;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and possess a hands-on and positive working attitude;
  • Good analytical skills with a high proficiency in MS Excel & Word will be a plus;
  • A team player with initiative and who can work independently;
  • Experience with using BIPO will be an advantage
