Job Description: The Logistics Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth through sound account management and conversion. They are accountable for establishing, driving, and implementing a sales strategy for UPS Healthcare Logistics and Distribution, including Managed Transportation across their territory.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new revenue by sourcing targeted customers requiring healthcare warehousing and distribution services.
- Develop healthcare services and products in Asia for existing and new customers.
- Lead discussions on customer's business and performance reviews.
- Maintain accurate reports of customer sales performance.
- Develop and collaborate with clients and local account executives on strategic solutions to drive growth.
- Coordinate sales activities across countries and regions.
- Maintain an up-to-date database of customer activities and future tenders.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key customer personnel and decision-makers.
- Work with internal stakeholders to develop account strategies for retention, penetration, and acquisition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Marketing, Business, or related; Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience in life sciences, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or related fields, with knowledge of GMP/GSP/GDP and 3PL/4PL is a plus.
- Healthcare regulations knowledge or healthcare service experience is highly preferred.
- ISO certification knowledge, especially ISO 13485:2003.
- Proven sales growth track record.
- Willingness to travel for business.
