The CompanyOur client, a leading company in insurance technology space going through numerous IT transformations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of enterprise IT systems and a proven record of leading cross-functional technology programs while managing the operational demands of a large, complex IT environment.

The Role

  • Oversee all IT operations across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and end-user support.
  • Own the entire IT budget (CapEx and OpEx) - including cost optimisation, finance resource allocation.
  • Lead resource allocation and workforce planning, ensuring optimal distribution of staff and contractors across project and operational needs.
  • Provide strategic direction to align IT investments with business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead vendor selection and contract negotiations for IT services, software, and infrastructure.
  • Manage performance of third-party suppliers to ensure service quality and contractual compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with strategic technology partners to enable innovation and service excellence.
  • Lead delivery of major IT programs, ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver value on time and within budget.
  • Ensure ongoing performance IT systems. (many systems are inhouse build)
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
  • Drive adoption of best practices in IT governance, compliance, and vendor management.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years in IT industry, with proven experience in program delivery and operational management, project management.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and applications.
  • Proven track record in budget ownership and vendor negotiations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational demands.
  • Insurance industry not a must
