About the Role

Our client is a dynamic and growing real estate investment platform managing multiple funds across the region. They are seeking an experienced all-rounded Accountant to support the finance activities both the corporate group and the underlying investment funds. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across investments, operations, and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group and funds, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Oversee fund NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting; ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reporting to LPs and internal stakeholders
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for both corporate and fund entities
  • Support audit processes and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other external service providers; ensure timely completion of all audit deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with tax filings, regulatory submissions, and other statutory obligations
  • Maintain, monitor, and improve internal control frameworks across corporate and fund operations
  • Partner with investment, operations, and finance teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
  • Prepare management reporting packs, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses for senior management and investors
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practices across fund and corporate finance operations
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with internal teams, external advisors, and investors
  • Support implementation and optimization of finance systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, or fund finance; experience in real estate or private equity platforms preferred
  • Strong knowledge of fund structures, financial regulations, and reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; highly detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
  • Tech-savvy, with advanced Excel skills; Yardi experience a plus
  • Proactive, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
