About the role

Twl-Group Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Pastry Cook to join our team in the Central Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of high-quality pastries, desserts and baked goods to delight our customers.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and bake a range of pastries, cakes, tarts, and other desserts according to recipes and company standards
  • Ensure all pastries and baked goods are presented to the highest standard
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Provide guidance and training to junior members of the pastry team
  • Contribute to the development of new pastry recipes and menu items

What we're looking for

  • Formal training in baking and pastry arts, with 2-3 years' experience as a Pastry Cook. Experience is preferred, but fresh grads or mid-career individuals with a passion are welcome too
  • A passion for creating delicious and visually appealing pastries and desserts
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
