About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join the growing team at International Bearings Pte. Ltd., a leading provider of industrial and automotive bearings and solutions. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be crucial in supporting our customers by providing expert technical advice and tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate with customers to understand their specific application needs and provide expert technical guidance
- Conduct in-depth product research and analysis to identify the most suitable bearing solutions
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and specifications to address customer requirements
- Provide on-site support and troubleshooting to ensure successful product implementation
- Liaise with the sales and engineering teams to coordinate product delivery and installation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services
What we're looking
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Field Service or Technical Sales Engineer in the industrial bearings or related sector
- Excellent technical expertise and in-depth understanding of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in the area of industrial bearings
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify tailored solutions for customers
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
