Ballast Water Service Engineer

  1. Be responsible for the planning, organization and execution of the ship ballast water adjustment and after-sales maintenance projects, main and auxiliary engine maintenance services, electrical automation services, ensuring that the maintenance tasks are completed on time.

2.BWMS system installation and troubleshooting.

3. Inspection, repair and installation of ship systems and equipment.

4. Ensure that all maintenance work complies with international standards and company quality standards.

5. Coordinate communication with suppliers, contractors and customers to ensure project progress and budget control.

6. Provide technical support and training to new employees to improve the skill level of the team.

7. Prepare maintenance reports and documents, record maintenance process and details.

8. Participate in the ship's regular overhaul and maintenance plan to ensure that the ship is in good working condition.

9. Comply with the company's safety policies and procedures to ensure that all work is carried out under safe conditions.

Requirements :

  1. Education requirements: Bachelor degree or above, Marine engineering, Marine engineering, electrical automation, mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
  2. Work experience: at least 5 years of engineering experience in the relevant field, including ship technical maintenance experience.
  3. Skill requirements: Proficient in maintenance and repair of ship systems of MAN, Wartsila, KONGSBER, Techross and other manufacturers, skilled in the use of maintenance equipment and tools.
  4. Good communication skills: Able to work with a multi-national team, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Project management: With project management experience, able to organize and supervise maintenance projects to ensure that they are completed as planned.
  6. Technical knowledge: familiar with ship equipment, mechanical, electrical and electronic systems, able to solve technical problems.
  7. Physical fitness: suitable for working on a ship, including during extended cruises at sea.
  8. English ability: Good oral and written English, able to communicate effectively with international customers and colleagues.
