About the role

We are seeking an experienced Shipping Executive to join our dynamic team at Regency Steel Asia Pte Ltd, located in the heart of Downtown Tanjong Pagar Central Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shipping operations and documentation to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage all aspects of outgoing and incoming shipments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor, track, and resolve demurrage and detention matters.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport service providers, and internal departments (including warehousing) to ensure timely clearance and delivery of cargo.
  • Engage with insurance surveyors to arrange and support cargo site surveys.
  • Review and verify all shipping documentation and maintain proper filing systems.
  • Process orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist with accounts receivable and payable tracking.
  • Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping or logistics role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
