Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management
- Develop and execute IT strategies that align with SATS Group's business objectives, ensuring technology investments support long-term corporate goals.
- Lead the creation and management of the IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technology trends.
- Proactively identify opportunities for new solutions, process improvements, and service expansions within Corporate IT.
- Drive innovation by proposing and implementing forward-thinking IT solutions to address business needs and enhance operational performance.
- Manage and prioritize the portfolio of IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with business stakeholders.
Project Management and Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project management for IT initiatives, from planning to execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, defining key deliverables, timelines, resources, and roles to ensure clear expectations across all stakeholders.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure change management practices are in place to support successful project delivery and adoption.
- Oversee both onshore and offshore vendor relationships, ensuring performance against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and project milestones.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure vendor selection aligns with business needs and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the IT security, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that all systems and IT solutions rolled out align with the group's IT policies, including cybersecurity standards, data governance protocols, and system architecture guidelines, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
Application Maintenance and Support
- Ensure ongoing support and maintenance of enterprise applications, addressing issues and driving continuous improvement to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary updates or fixes.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing efficient and effective support to internal stakeholders, resolving incidents, and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Work with the team to ensure robust documentation, accurate requirement traceability, and seamless transition from project delivery to ongoing support
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in IT strategic planning, portfolio management, and project delivery.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, from development to ongoing maintenance and support.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to manage relationships across business and IT functions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, especially in managing complex projects and cross-functional issues.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and service agreements (SLAs).
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendor performance and resolve conflicts
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, for example, AI and machine learning, with the ability to assess and integrate these technologies into business solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus.
