Indoor Sales Executive

- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience and routing calls to the appropriate departments when necessary.
- Actively engage with existing and potential customers, including making outbound calls, following up on leads, and addressing inquiries to drive new business opportunities.
- Understand customer needs and preferences through active listening and engagement, identifying potential sales opportunities for both current and new products/services.
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collect valuable feedback on products/services and escalate to the relevant departments for further action.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge and offerings, effectively explain, and upsell to customers based on their needs and interests.
- Stay informed about competitors' products, services, and market trends to identify areas for improvement and differentiate our offerings.
- Proactively research, identify, and qualify new leads and business opportunities, expanding the customer base and increasing sales.
- Take ownership of achieving or exceeding individual sales targets by closing sales effectively and driving revenue growth.
- Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks as required, maintaining organized records and contributing to the smooth operation of the sales process.
- Regularly track and report on sales activities, lead status, customer feedback, and progress towards targets. Use data to improve performance and identify areas for development.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by providing personalized service, anticipating their needs, and offering solutions that enhance their experience and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to retain and grow existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work with marketing, customer support, and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, promotions, and customer service strategies.
- Take on special sales initiatives, promotional campaigns, or market research projects as directed by the Sales Manager or leadership team.
- Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by management to contribute to the achievement of the company's sales objectives and growth strategy.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Admin or relevant
- Preferably minimum 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG / Modern Trade
- Common software skills are a must
