Responsibilities

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow customer accounts by offering a comprehensive range of value-added services.
  • Analyze emerging trends in the ocean and freight forwarding industry to uncover and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activity and develop strategic responses to maintain a competitive edge.
  • To forge and nurture strategic partnerships to expand the company's ocean and freight forwarding business
  • Drive global account development by implementing strategic growth initiatives and ensuring their successful execution.
  • Define and execute sales strategies aimed at deploying company services to key ocean and freight opportunities.
  • Achieve assigned revenue, margin, and yield targets for designated accounts.
  • Address growth strategies and competitive pricing models while aligning global customer strategies and activities.
  • To maintain high-level engagement with senior customer stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, manage risks with at-risk accounts, and proactively address evolving customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to craft solutions, develop proposals, and create competitive pricing models; support sales calls to refine opportunities and finalize value propositions.
  • Lead the development and delivery of proposals and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by utilizing established processes and tools.
  • Able to provide consistent, structured weekly reporting on all active business development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent and 8 years of ocean and freight forward sales experience required.
  • Proven experience with logistics processes, solutions and project management
