Our client is a Singapore's leading distributor for electrical, lighting, control and safety products and accessories. Currently, they are looking for a Customer Service Executive to join their family.
Job Details
- Salary range: $2300-$3500 (depends on experience)
- Working Hour: Monday to Friday (8am-5.30pm)
- Working Location: Kallang (Central)
- Benefits: Performance Bonus (Twice a year), quarterly incentive, annual profit sharing

Job Description
The Customer Service Executive plays a key role in coordinating lighting project sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. The position supports the project sales team in achieving sales, profit, and KPI targets for the designated industry sub-cluster, in line with the company's objectives. The incumbent works closely with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution, timely delivery, and cost control. Additional responsibilities include assisting with accounts receivable follow-up, conducting sourcing activities, and managing delivery arrangements to meet customer requirements.
Order Processing & Coordination
- Acknowledge and process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Prepare and issue sales orders with correct purchase order details, pricing, and terms.
- Raise purchase requests for project-related items and services.
- Provide customers with accurate delivery timelines and status updates.
- Arrange for sample orders and submissions to clients or consultants for approval.
- Coordinate delivery logistics, including special packing, and labelling requirements.
- Process and release invoices daily, ensuring alignment with purchase orders and billing accuracy.
- Support the sales team in tracking project costs to maintain projected profitability.
Order Fulfilment & Monitoring
- Monitor outstanding orders and follow up proactively to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Use the ERP system to track order and delivery status.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to address order or supply chain issues promptly.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships through regular communication and engagement.
- Follow up on inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Manage and resolve complaints related to product quality, delivery performance, and service standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate stakeholders while ensuring timely closure and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee goods return and credit note processes to ensure accurate and timely order closure.
Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Source and evaluate quotations from multiple suppliers to meet project requirements.
- Prepare purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with company procedures.
- Collaborate with vendors to secure competitive pricing, quality products, and on-time deliveries.
Requirement
- Candidate with Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering
