Our client, a reputable main contractor specialising in roadworks and civil infrastructure projects in Singapore is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor to be based at their head office. It is a 5-day work week (Mon–Fri, 9 am–6 pm), and the role offers solid exposure to infrastructure projects, including LTA road works, PUB, and CAG-related works.
Job Responsibilities:
- Spearhead tender costing, budgeting, and preparation of bid submissions.
- Review drawings and contract documents to formulate accurate cost estimates.
- Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive quotations.
- Manage project budgets, forecast cash flow, and monitor cost variations.
- Coordinate with site and project teams to compile progress claims and variation orders.
- Handle contractual documents, subcontractor payments, and maintain proper records.
Requirements:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in quantity surveying within the civil or infrastructure industry.
- Strong proficiency in tendering, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset.
