Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: $4,000 – $6,000 per month
Employment Type: Permanent (with Variable Bonus every July)
Working Hours: 5.25 days per week (Mon – Fri: 9am–6pm, Alternate Sat: 9am–1pm)
Location: Jurong Region
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure sub-contractors and suppliers, collating prices for comparison.
- Review and interpret all specifications and drawings.
- Prepare cost loading and documentation.
- Conduct meetings and negotiations with upstream and downstream parties on payment claims, specifications, drawings, scope of works, and variations.
- Prepare upstream payment claims and downstream payment responses.
- Handle contractual correspondence and cost-related matters with stakeholders.
- Manage subcontract awards and documentation.
- File, evaluate, and monitor project variations.
- Perform value engineering and cost control during design development.
- Undertake ad-hoc duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Building Construction, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in a construction or QS firm.
- Strong knowledge in procurement, quantity surveying, and SOP Act.
- Familiarity with LTA MRT works and Design & Build projects.
- Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- High integrity, proactive, detail-oriented, and analytical with problem-solving abilities.
- Hands-on, able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines independently.
- Must be willing to be stationed at site office.
