About the role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role within the Construction team at Emma Groups Construction Pte Ltd, This full-time position will involve managing the financial aspects of projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and overseeing the procurement of materials and services.
What you'll be doing
Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets and financial reports for construction projects
Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying potential cost savings opportunities
Negotiating and managing contracts with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders
Providing advice on contractual and commercial matters to the Project Management team
Assisting with the procurement of materials, equipment and labour resources
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
Minimum years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
Strong understanding of construction processes, contract management and cost control principles
Proficient in using quantity surveying software, spreadsheets and project management tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Adaptable and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines
