
Assistant Manager, Leasing, Retail

Responsibilities
- Leasing of retail properties owned by CDL group by sourcing and securing suitable tenants that fit into desired tenant mix at the malls as well as for MCST properties
- Identifying market trends, key insights and rethinking of marketing tools to lease out retail spaces
- Conducting market research of competitors and market benchmarks of rentals and occupancy cost
- Reviewing and formulating marketing and leasing strategies for long term sustainability in current Covid19 environment
- Building and establishing good tenant relationships and cultivating strong network with prospects and partners
- Supporting AEI on leasing of new retail spaces and carrying out feasibility studies for new developments or projects assigned by Head of Retail from time to time
- Managing key stakeholders and engaging senior management on obtaining approvals for concepts, revenue budgets and sharing of any periodical updates
- Preparing management reports and annual budgets including review of rental rates for CDL portfolio of retail properties
- Reviewing rentals and occupancy periodically to implement appropriate marketing and renewal strategies to meet KPIs
- Tenants' Management including assisting Credit Control team with arrears management to reduce company risk exposure
Requirements:
- Degree in Real Estate or equivalent
- Resourceful, energetic and confident individual with at least 8 years of retail leasing experience
- Effective interpersonal, negotiation, organisational and leadership skills
- Good contacts with retail players and agents
- Thrives under pressure
