Job Description Summary

**Job Description**:
You will be assisting the Head, Leasing (Retail & Workspace) in securing new to market brands and concepts and managing relationships with retailers to ensure that their expansion plans are well taken care of within CapitaLand portfolio. Highly sensitive to what is happening in the retail market, you will be able to identify market trends, capitalise on opportunities to source for leasing leads and new concepts. This position calls for a highly energetic, driven professional with a diverse industry network; possesses analytical, communication and collaboration skills as well as experience in leasing.
- Responsible for managing retailers’ requirements in leasing retail space within retail and workspace asset class in CapitaLand portfolio and working with Retail Leasing Key Account Managers (KAMs) to fulfill retailers’ expansion needs.
- Handle retail leasing enquiries and work with KAMs to make necessary recommendation of retail spaces at the malls to prospects
- Source for new to market brands and concepts and work with malls to constantly strengthen and refresh trade mix with new and exciting retail concepts
- Conduct market research to keep abreast of retail market and trend
- Establish strong network with retailers and tenants
- Degree or Diploma in Estate Management, Building or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in retail leasing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess good network of tenants and contacts
- Possess positive disposition and resourcefulness and a team player
- Sound understanding of the real estate and retail industries preferably in shopping complex
- Computer literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and an eye for details
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
