Job Description

  • Identify and assess new markets and applications, develop tailored go-to-market strategies, and refine business plans through ongoing market and competitor analysis for the South East Asia market
  • Support front end sales to engage with prospective and existing customers to understand needs and position tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with all the stakeholders in country office to guide and support in developing proposals, bids, and presentations that align with customer objectives
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops
  • Liaise with implementation teams, global headquarters, and third-party suppliers from the earliest stages of a project to shape requirements and align solutions.
  • Track and report on pipeline status, and regional growth initiatives

Job Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Electronics/Communication/Networking/ IT/Instrumentation
  • Minimum 5-7 yrs experience in fiber sensing technologies involving sales pursuits and overseeing technical implementations
  • Basic application knowledge across industries such as, but not limited to, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Power, Data Centers, Infrastructure, and Railways
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the region to explore new opportunities and to stay updated on market developments
  • Knowledge on various fibre sensing solutions used in the industries and market available offerings
  • Basic understanding and experience with industrial communication technologies, including field and wireless protocols
  • Knowledge of commercial and financial aspects
  • Hands-on experience with IIoT implementation, on-premise/cloud applications, and upper-level systems (such as DCS, PLC, SCADA, etc.) is an added advantage
