We are partnering with an Insurer to search for a Assistmant Manager Compliance Specialist, focusing on the Financial Advisory (FA) distribution channel. The role supports regulatory compliance, internal policy adherence, and includes conducting investigations related to distribution practices and FA representatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with MAS regulations and company policies relevant to FA operations
  • Conduct reviews and audits of FA sales practices, marketing materials, and client advisory processes
  • Lead and support investigations into potential misconduct or non-compliance by FA representatives
  • Handle distribution compliance cases, including fact-finding, analysis, and drafting investigation reports
  • Support regulatory reporting and respond to MAS or internal audit queries
  • Provide compliance advisory and training to FA representatives and business units
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, controls, and monitoring tools
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and assess their impact on FA business practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of compliance or investigation experience, preferably in insurance or FA distribution
  • Familiarity with MAS regulations (e.g., FAA, AML/CFT, TCF) and distribution compliance practices
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with good judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage sensitive issues with discretion
