The Sustainability Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating sustainability-related training programs. The role focuses on equipping participants with the knowledge, skills, and tools to implement sustainable practices in their organisations while promoting awareness of global and local sustainability issues.

  1. Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on sustainability topics such as climate change, circular economy, green practices, and sustainable business strategies.
  2. Design course materials, lesson plans, case studies, and interactive activities to meet learning objectives.
  3. Stay updated with current sustainability trends, frameworks, and regulations, incorporating them into training content.
  4. Facilitate discussions, workshops, and group projects to encourage practical application of sustainability concepts.
  5. Assess participant learning and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Collaborate with the training team to continuously improve curriculum and delivery methods.
  7. Support the development of customised sustainability training for corporate and community clients.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or related discipline.
  2. Proven experience in sustainability, environmental management.
  3. Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience preferred.
  4. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Passion for sustainability and commitment to driving positive environmental and social change.
  6. Excellent facilitation and public speaking skills.
  7. Strong subject matter expertise in sustainability.
  8. Adaptability to different audiences, from corporate professionals to community groups.
  9. Ability to inspire and motivate participants to take action on sustainability.
