About the Role:

We are seeking part-time adjunct trainers who are passionate and experienced in upskilling mid-career professionals in the discipline of business and data analytics. As an adjunct trainer, you will deliver engaging and interactive training sessions on data analytics and machine learning topics and help trainees transition into new careers by providing mentorship and guidance throughout their learning process.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver high quality adult training sessions in the areas of business and data analytics, including topics such as:

• Data Analytics using Excel
• Database management using MySQL
• Data Visualization using Power BI and Tableau
• Analytics programming using Python and associated libraries
• Machine Learning modelling using Python and associated libraries
• Analytics solutioning using low-code/no-code tools such as Orange Data Mining
• Prompt-based development using GenAI platforms such as ChatGPT
• AI automation using tools such as n8n and Power Automate

What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications):

1. Education:

2. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, AI, or a related discipline

3. Professional certifications in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning (e.g., WSQ Diploma in Design and Development of Learning, WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and performance, etc.) are highly desirable
4. Professional certifications in business analytics, data analytics, or related areas (e.g., Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, etc.) are also preferred

5. Experience:

6. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in business analytics, data analytics, data science, or a related discipline

7. Previous teaching or training experience, particularly in an adult education or professional development setting
8. Demonstrated experience with real-world data analytics projects, including hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Orange Data Mining etc.

9. Skills:

10. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible and engaging way

11. Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with a commitment to helping students succeed
12. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Training schedule may include weekday normal hours, weekday evenings (7pm to 10pm), and Saturday mornings or afternoons. Flexibility to accommodate these varying time slots is essential. Would strongly prefer the candidate to be based in Singapore.
