Our client, a leading international bank with strong regional presence, is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to join their team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to cover very large corporates, including multinational trading companies, Singapore/SEA conglomerates, and Chinese stakeholders, while driving new business development and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and acquire new-to-bank corporate clients.
  • Deepen and manage relationships with existing clients, including large multinational corporations, Chinese enterprises, and regional conglomerates.
  • Prepare credit proposals in relation to credit facilities, including financial analysis, structuring of facilities terms and conditions and advocating the credit case;
  • Monitor and review credit facilities to ensure compliance with internal risk frameworks and market conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across risk, product, and operations to deliver seamless client solutions.
  • Support departmental initiatives and contribute to achieving business targets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in corporate banking or trade finance, with proven business development track record.
  • Experience managing very large corporates, MNCs, and/or Chinese corporate clients is highly preferred.
  • Strong credit and financial analysis skills, with ability to structure and advocate credit proposals.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin (required for liaising with Mandarin-speaking clients and Head Office).
  • Self-starter with strong motivation to drive results, able to work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build trusted client relationships.
