Finance Executive / Accounts Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Finance Executive to manage and maintain financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting of receipts and payments, effective budget control, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in public or fund-based financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain Two Key AccountsEnsure proper accounting of receipts and payments for both accounts.

    Monitor transactions and ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
  2. Manage Development Accounts and FundsOversee fund balances, track utilization, and ensure proper fund allocation.
  3. Weekly Invoice MonitoringTrack and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payments and accurate records.
  4. Bank Reconciliations & DocumentationPrepare monthly bank reconciliations and related financial documentation.
  5. Invoice Processing & Vendor LiaisonProcess incoming invoices and liaise with vendors on payment status and queries.
  6. Handle Daily Collections & PaymentsManage day-to-day receipts and disbursements in a timely and secure manner.
  7. Budget Verification & UploadsVerify submitted budgets and assist in uploading and maintaining budget records.
  8. Prepare Monthly Reports & Fund PositionsGenerate monthly financial schedules and track fund positions for reporting.
  9. Process Reimbursements & Grant ClaimsHandle quarterly reimbursements and monthly grant claim submissions in line with guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Excel
  • Experience with Workday ERP is an added advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
