Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and develop a diverse team, including contractors and temporary personnel.
  • Strategically plan and oversee all logistics, warehousing, and transportation operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and transportation providers to ensure efficient movement of goods.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the receipt, storage, picking, and dispatch of products.
  • Maintain up-to-date stock control systems and accurate inventory records.
  • Develop future warehouse capacity plans and resource requirements.
  • Implement and enhance warehouse processes, aligning with industry best practices.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and assess staff performance, addressing disciplinary issues as necessary.
  • Foster a high-performance team culture through motivation and support.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and security regulations in warehouse operations.
  • Track and report on KPIs, productivity metrics, and operational costs.
  • Oversee the functionality of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
  • Facilitate logistics operations and external facilities across multiple countries.
  • Support import/export processes, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet overall business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations management/supervisory roles.
  • Proven track record of managing teams and overseeing multiple warehouse sites.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse procedures, policies, and inventory management.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects concurrently.
