RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Facilities Intern to support the operations and maintenance of our power generation facility. This internship provides hands-on exposure to industrial facilities management, workplace safety protocols, and infrastructure support in a high-performance energy environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.

  • Assist in the inspection and upkeep of plant infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, and common areas.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with technical teams and contractors.
  • Help monitor facility systems such as PA & Siren system, lighting, water supply, and waste management system.
  • Participate in site safety audits and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.
  • Assist in managing facility-related documentation, including service reports, delivery orders, asset registers, and safety reports.
  • Support logistics for facility upgrades, shutdowns, and equipment installations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for scheduled works and emergency repairs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to energy efficiency, waste management, and sustainability.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a tertiary education in Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in industrial operations and infrastructure management.
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols and technical systems in a plant environment.
  • A team player and takes initiative to assist other Team Members when required.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with digital documentation tools.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, industrial setting and adhere to strict safety standards.
