**Roles & Responsibilities**

The Facilities Support will support the Facilities Manager with operational activities in maintenance and operations, purchasing of material, equipment & supplies, asset cataloguing and monitoring, project work and supervision of the Facilities and Maintenance Team. The post holder is required to ensure the effective provision of proactive and reactive maintenance and facilities services across the organisation.

Key tasks of the Facilities Support include, but are not limited to:
**Maintenance and repairs**
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections of all floor, walls and ceiling coverings, free standing and fitted furniture, drainage and gully systems, doors, windows and associated furnishings.
- Coordinate and carryout repair tasks either identified through regular maintenance inspection checks or as reported through the maintenance request system.
- Coordinate and carryout planned and preventative maintenance site wide.
- Report major repair/maintenance issues and any safety issues to Facilities Manager
**Operational Support**
- Provide practical support and advice in the development of project work, equipment and installations as necessary; and to build, install and maintain project items as required.
- Provide practical support with logistics of set-up for events including removal/moving of furniture etc
- Assist in carp park management during drop off and collection times, events, etc
- Assisting Facilities Manager
- Support the Facilities Manager to ensure sufficient cover by Facilities and Maintenance team at all times.
- Responsible for control and content of stores/stock used to support maintenance and facilities tasks; ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet demands.
**Others**
- To perform any other duties commensurate with the role as reasonably required from time to time and in support of Blue House International School objectives.

Blue House International is a Reggio Emilia inspired international pre-school located in the Bukit Timah area, offering half day and full programmes for children aged 18 months to six years old.
