What you will be working on:
  • Supervise and support Bistro Lab's daily food production and service operations in a teaching environment
  • Deliver culinary modules aligned with curriculum and industry standards
  • Conduct hands-on cooking demonstrations with emphasis on culinary techniques, ingredient functionality, and food science
  • Instruct students on food safety, hygiene practices, and proper equipment handling
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills
  • Mentor students and provide constructive feedback to support their learning and professional growth
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized teaching kitchen
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors to integrate Bistro Lab activities with academic objectives
  • Stay current with culinary industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into teaching
What we are looking for:
  • Qualification in Culinary Arts or in a related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience; teaching or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of food science, recipe development, and ingredient interactions is preferred
  • Proven experience in managing hot kitchen operations is essential
  • Versatility in café or basic baking operations is an added advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
