Job Summary:

We are looking for a sharp, dependable, and proactive Project Accountant to manage the financial performance of multiple projects, with a particular focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). The ideal candidate is a sound accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, and who can work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and monitor AP and AR activities across multiple concurrent projects

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments

  • Track project billings, issue customer invoices, and monitor collections

  • Perform regular project-level financial reconciliations, including tracking variances and resolving discrepancies

  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and ensure budget compliance

  • Prepare and present periodic project financial reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis

  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities specific to project accounting

  • Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the project accounting operation

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a project-based or multi-entity environment

  • Strong knowledge of AP and AR processes, project costing, and financial reporting

  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks)

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with high attention to detail

  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and demanding environment

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across functions and with external stakeholders
