Job Summary:

We are seeking a Market Intelligence Senior Executive is responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting global and market-level data to identify growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, and competitive advantages for the company's brands. This role will act as a key knowledge hub for market trends, category developments, enabling the marketing and sales teams to make data-driven strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Global & Category Trends Analysis: Monitor global FMCG trends, with a specific focus on instant noodles and beverages. Track category developments across multiple markets to identify innovation and competitive movement.
  • Data-Driven Opportunity Identification: Analyse market growth, channel trends, and competitor performance to identify white space opportunities and recommend potential product or market strategies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Engage with flavour houses and suppliers to understand new ingredient innovations and flavour opportunities. Collaborate with brand marketing teams to integrate relevant insights into product development plans.
  • Consumer & Market Research: Conduct or commission targeted research in key markets to better understand consumers and purchase drivers. Synthesize these insights into compelling, actionable recommendations for marketing and product teams.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Market & category analysis
  • Competitive benchmarking
  • Presentation and storytelling skills
  • FMCG category knowledge (preferably noodles & beverages)
  • Proficiency in Chinese language is required
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in market research, category management, or FMCG marketing analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Good command of both verbal and written English and Mandarin to effectively liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates and international partners.
