Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact leader to serve as Country Manager (Singapore) while driving regional expansion as our Regional Business Development Director, Asia.
You will oversee Singapore operations and lead Goose's strategic growth across Asia—building partnerships, driving sales, establishing regional teams, and setting the foundation for long-term market leadership.
What You'll Own
- The main target is to lead the Business Development Team for regional business opportunities.
- Develop and Scale Teams: Recruit, develop, and lead regional teams capable of executing ambitious growth plans. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
- Lead Singapore Operations: Manage all aspects of our Singapore business, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and compliance. Build and mentor a high-performing local team aligned with Goose's culture and vision.
- Drive Regional Growth: Define and execute the strategy for expanding Goose across Asia. Identify high-potential markets, develop business channels, and deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders. Negotiate and close high-impact deals that accelerate market penetration and long-term growth.
- Influence Strategy with Market Insights: Provide actionable insights on regional trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to guide executive decisions.
What We Require for This Role
- 8–12+ years of experience in business development, Company Director, or partnerships—preferably in SaaS, or technology.
- Proven track record of growth leadership and market development across Asia.
- Strong network and deep familiarity with Singapore's business and social communities.
- Experience building, managing, and scaling high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel across Asia.
Bonus Points for Candidates Who Have
- Experience in Web3, video streaming, OTT, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated success leading both business development and marketing teams.
- Experience managing regional operations in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Deep knowledge of Asia's media, ISP, and content ecosystems.
