Arup is seeking a Payroll Officer to ensure the accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages for approximately 90 employees. You will play a key role in payroll processing, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining effective communication with internal teams and external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to the smooth operation of payroll services across a dynamic organisation.

The Opportunity

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for review, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Manage termination calculations, including preparation of termination emails and follow-up with employees before payment.
  • Handle monthly Art 21 returns, BPJS submissions, and ensure accurate remuneration data entry.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual leave schemes and reconciliations for salary and wages.
  • Maintain pay records, manage shared payroll inbox, and support ad-hoc reports and projects as required.

Is this role right for you?

  • 8-10 years of experience in payroll, preferably in an APAC or professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems such as Access EasyPay or Oracle, and relevant local regulations.
  • Strong communication skills to explain payroll concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle high workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
