Job Description Reporting to Payroll Assistant Manager, the Senior Payroll Officer is responsible for managing payroll operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee payments. This role will involve working with the team, ensuring compliance with local tax and labor regulations, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. He/she will support Assistant Manager to improve efficiency in transactional operations and enhance role of Finance as strategic Business Partners providing actionable business insights & performance measurement. Responsibilities Payroll related duties Co-ordinate the day-to-day payroll processing operations Ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness for all payroll runs (regular/off-cycle runs) tax withholding, company deduction and CPF submissions Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to internal stakeholders and external bodies Review and manage outstanding receivables from ex-staff with HR Division Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues Support Accountant in month end activities such as processing Journals. Support in Annual IR8E Exercise, internal and external audits Support in any other annual testing, ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned by management Requirements Min Diploma in Accounting/Finance/Business in Accounting. At least 5years of relevant experience in payroll teams in large SMEs or MNCs Experience using SAP Payroll or SAP Employee central payroll system Good team player and have good communication and problem-solving skills Please note that only short-listed candidates will be notified.
