Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to:

  • Implement a Tiered Data Governance Framework and Data Security Instructions (DSI)
  • Ensure internal data usage complies with Government IM policies (collection, use, disclosure)
  • Gather inputs from divisions to support the Secured Data Exchange Agreement (SDEA)
  • Coordinate DSI compliance assessments with external auditors and sector partners
  • Assist in reviewing and rolling out updated data security policies

  • Promote data best practices by:

  • Organising events like quarterly Data Community Exchanges and annual Hackathons

  • Designing internal EDMs and reviewing the Data Sharing Guide
  • Perform other duties related to data governance and strategy as required
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Meticulous, with strong attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Interest in public sector data protection policies and practices
  • Basic understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) is a plus
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively

Working Hours:

  • Mon – Thurs: 8:30am – 6:00pm
  • Fri: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days from home (Subject to manager's approval and individual work performance)
