Freight Operations Executive

Location: Near Kaki Bukit MRT Station (DT28)

Salary: SGD 3,500 – $4,200

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate import/export ocean freight schedules to ensure timely processing and delivery.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time arrival and proper condition.
  • Manage email correspondence with customers, overseas agents, and business partners.
  • Prepare customer invoices and verify vendor billing accuracy.
  • Work closely with carriers, co-loaders, and freight forwarders to manage sailing schedules, cargo space, and resolve shipment issues.
  • Prepare, review, and process import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Ensure customs compliance by preparing accurate declarations and resolving clearance issues.
  • Stay updated on international and local regulatory requirements to ensure shipment compliance.
  • Handle and resolve customs-related disputes or valuation concerns that may delay goods release.
  • Support management with ad-hoc logistics and operational tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of working experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export ocean freight operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with permit declaration will be an added advantage.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
