JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage and coordinate vessel and cargo operations at Singapore ports and terminals.
  • Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Monitor vessel schedules, berthing plans, and turnaround times to optimize performance.
  • Ensure compliance with port regulations, company policies, and safety requirements.
  • Handle documentation, operational reporting, and cost control processes.
  • Support the Country Manager Chief Business Officer (CBO) in operational planning, resource allocation, and performance management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR POSITION

  • Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
  • 4–6 years of experience in shipping or port operations, preferably with exposure to liner or agency operations.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and shipping-related software systems will be an advantage.
