Duration: 1-year renewable contract
Purpose of the Role
The Assistant Manager/Senior Executive will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial and community engagement initiatives. The position focuses on driving event programming, sales performance, stakeholder partnerships, and volunteer coordination to enhance growth and engagement outcomes.
Commercial Event Planning and Sales Management
- Support the development and execution of commercial events that drive revenue and align with financial objectives.
- Assist in event planning, timeline management, and coordination of event logistics.
- Manage event bookings and collaborate with partners and vendors.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports.
Stakeholder Relationship Management
- Build and maintain partnerships with key clients, sponsors, and partners to support business growth.
- Engage with industry stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities.
- Support contract negotiations and partnership agreements.
Property and Tenant Management Support
- Oversee tenant and partner performance, ensuring compliance and satisfaction.
- Support tenant engagement activities and manage lease-related coordination.
- Handle feedback and resolve tenancy-related issues.
Community Event Organization and Volunteer Coordination
- Plan and implement community engagement events to foster public participation and awareness.
- Liaise with government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders for event collaboration.
- Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support event execution.
- Ensure events meet engagement objectives and uphold organisational values.
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5–7 years of relevant work experience in event management, business development, or community engagement, preferably within the lifestyle, entertainment, sports, or public sector.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with event sales processes, commercial agreements, and community engagement strategies.
Sound understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior across entertainment, retail, and community sectors.
Sales Data Analysis: Able to use sales analytics tools to track performance and trends (preferred, but not mandatory)
- CRM Systems: Experienced in using CRM platforms to manage client and sales information (preferred, but not mandatory)
- AI Tools Familiarity: Comfortable with digital tools and open to adopting AI-driven applications for event and marketing operations (preferred, but not mandatory)
