You will assist the supervisor in achieving the Education Mandate of both Division of Surgery and Surgical Oncology (DSSO) and Surgery Academic Clinical Program (SURG ACP).

You will manage the Education functions in DSSO and SURG ACP. You will be primarily responsible for managing all aspects of medical student matters related to student rotation, briefings, feedback, and other student matters within DSSO., ensuring a positive and productive experience for students during their time in DSSO.

You will also manage education grants, for example, track and manage education projects; and provide administrative support by preparing management reports, writing minutes and handle ad hoc queries,.

You will assist the supervisor in managing relationships with key stakeholders, collaborate with other functional groups within and beyond SURG ACP to support milestone achievements and manage education-related issues and obstacles.

You will provide administrative and operational support to the Vice Chair (Undergraduate) and Deputy Vice Chair (Education) for the projects assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Education, Human Resources, or related field, preferably with at least a year of working experience.
  • Experience in student affairs, education, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, have an eye for details.
  • A good team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Working Conditions

  • This role may require occasional evening or weekend work, depending on student schedules or events.
  • The position may involve some travel to off-site locations for student rotations or events.
