The Divisional Executive is part of the Faculty Affairs team, supporting the Divisions and Majors within Yale-NUS College.
This is a 3 Years Contract Position.
Faculty Affairs Office Support
Provide support as required to College-wide academic events and initiativesSecretariat work for selected College committees including managing agendas, preparing materials, minutes writing, and seeing through follow-up itemsWork with colleagues in identifying and/or developing ways to streamline processes within and across divisionsEnsure business processes are compliant to College policiesAny ad hoc projects or duties as assigned by reporting manager
Faculty Support
Contact person for a cluster of Majors within the Division of ScienceProvide support to the Majors for the following functions but not limited to:Faculty recruitmentWork with Human Resources, Divisional Director and Dean of Faculty to ensure timely hiring and effective on-boarding of FacultyAdvise faculty on College’s policies and guidelinesEvents/meetings logistics which include Academic visitors, Conferences, Workshops, Majors meetings, Open houses etcBudget ManagementRecruit and manage Students AssociatesProvide logistic arrangements for local and overseas field tripsAd-hoc projects and tasks assigned by the Heads of StudiesRequirements
