Audit Analyst
You have the chance to play a pivotal part in embedding compliance as a core value within the business, supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure robust governance and risk mitigation. You will be at the heart of compliance operations, providing expert guidance, facilitating meetings, and driving continuous improvement through analytics and collaborative initiatives. This a unique chance to further your career in compliance within the technology sector.
What you'll do:
As an Audit Analyst, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day management of audit & compliance programmes across multiple subsidiaries within the ASEAN region. Your responsibilities will span from running detailed analytics reports that inform strategic decisions to managing recurring activities such as committee meetings, trainings, and reporting cycles. You will serve as the trusted advisor for all compliance matters, working collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to identify risks, implement effective controls, and ensure that remediation efforts are both timely and impactful. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting leadership's commitment to upholding high standards of integrity while fostering an environment where open communication about compliance is encouraged. By leveraging your strong analytical abilities and programme management skills, you will contribute significantly to maintaining robust governance structures that protect the organisation's reputation and operational effectiveness.
- Support subsidiary and sub-region leadership in executing compliance as an integral part of their business rhythm, ensuring that policies are strictly adhered to through effective governance processes.
- Provide comprehensive compliance support, consulting services, and ongoing monitoring to help management achieve their business objectives while mitigating risk.
- Collaborate with Business & Finance Compliance champions by delivering training sessions focused on promoting good practices and investigating potential red flags or dashboard indicators.
- Facilitate or assist in conducting Compliance Committee meetings at both subsidiary and sub-region levels, elevating compliance awareness among Country Managers, Senior Leadership Teams, Legal, and HR departments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all compliance-related queries within the subsidiary and sub-region, offering timely advice and solutions.
- Identify geo-specific risks not addressed by the global compliance framework and work proactively to address these gaps through tailored controls assessments.
- Coordinate with consulting partners on quarterly controls testing activities, ensuring prompt resolution of identified issues and providing constructive feedback for process enhancement.
- Review root causes of control assessment observations across ASEAN subsidiaries, orchestrating effective remediation actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a continuous feedback loop with third-party audit and risk consultants as well as corporate teams to enhance risk elimination strategies informed by external reviews.
- Engage in closed group collaboration with external parties who provide helpdesk support and monitoring services, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
What you bring:
To excel as a Compliance Analyst in this role, you will bring proven experience navigating complex regulatory environments-ideally within the technology sector-where your analytical acumen has enabled you to interpret data trends accurately and recommend effective solutions. Your background should reflect hands-on involvement in programme management activities where you have successfully balanced competing priorities without compromising quality or timelines. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills which allow you to translate technical findings into clear recommendations for both technical specialists and non-specialist stakeholders alike. Your ability to build relationships across different functions ensures that you can facilitate productive discussions during committee meetings or training sessions. A keen eye for detail combined with a proactive attitude towards identifying emerging risks means you are always one step ahead when it comes to safeguarding organisational interests. Above all else, your commitment to ethical conduct sets you apart as someone who can be relied upon to uphold the highest standards of integrity while nurturing a culture of trust throughout the team.
- A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Internal Audit, Compliance or Risk Assessment roles within a technology environment is preferred; candidates from commercial industries will also be considered if they demonstrate relevant expertise.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analysis using Excel (including Vlookup functions and Pivot Tables) as well as Power BI for generating actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Proven track record in programme management with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to clearly convey insights through written reports and verbal presentations tailored for diverse audiences including senior leadership teams.
- Experience building compelling presentations using PowerPoint for meetings or business training sessions; prior experience delivering presentations is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration across departments such as Legal, HR, Finance, and external consulting partners.
- Ability to identify geo-specific risks not covered by standard frameworks and develop practical solutions tailored to local requirements.
- Capacity for continuous learning demonstrated by seeking feedback from audits or third-party reviews to drive ongoing improvements in compliance processes.
- Dependable approach towards managing confidential information with sensitivity while adhering strictly to established policies.
- A collaborative mindset that values teamwork, knowledge sharing, and supporting colleagues in achieving shared goals.
