Vizzio Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure systems, including client devices. Your primary responsibility shall be to ensure the stability, security and efficiency of our in-house and project's IT systems while providing technical support to our internal teams.

As we are a fast-growing, scale-up organization, our ideal candidate should be open to learn new things, able to self-manage and perform effectively on assigned tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

This position is a Full-Time role and shall be based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide IT systems support and maintenance. Deploy, configure and maintain IT infrastructure systems based on Company's requirements.
  • Collaborate with other internal team members and project stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of
  • systems, deployment and onboarding of devices, and implementation of security policies where required.
  • Provide System Administration support to manage and maintain servers, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure including monitoring system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular system updates and patches.
  • Propose, implement and maintain security measures to protect data and systems from threats and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001…etc.).
  • Develop and maintain DLP, backup and disaster recovery plans and procedures, conduct regular testing of backups and recovery processes whenever required or as scheduled.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Generate reports on system performance, incidents, and improvements whenever required and propose improvements and preventions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and optimization of IT processes. Introduce solutions to streamline and increase efficiency of in-house IT processes and where required, implement automation scripts and tools to improve system efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in managing Windows and Linux servers, workstations, switches, routers, access points and end-user devices.
  2. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  3. Strong knowledge of systems networking principles and protocols.
  4. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  6. Able to work in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Education & Experience:

  1. Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent is a plus.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT systems engineering and administration.
