Overview:

We are looking for a motivated System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will proactively monitor systems, manage incidents, and provide operational support in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on rotating 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all incidents via the ITSM portal and ensure timely resolution or escalation to Level II support.
  • Track and escalate system performance alerts to meet SLA requirements.
  • Review automated reports and highlight issues to the respective points of contact.
  • Perform job monitoring, system alert suppression, and handle escalation tasks as needed.
  • Respond promptly to user calls, emails, and requests.
  • Support ad-hoc operational or project-related tasks when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of activities and follow operational guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Willing to work on a 12-hour shift rotation
