About the role

As a full-time AV Engineer (Programmer), you'll program and troubleshoot AV systems, including control systems, video walls, audio, and lighting. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients, you'll ensure tailored, seamless integration and operation of AV solutions for each project. Your expertise will be key to delivering reliable, high-performance systems.

What you'll be doing

  • Program, configure, and troubleshoot AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, etc.) for a variety of applications
  • Design and implement system integrations for audio, video, lighting, and other multimedia systems
  • Develop custom control interfaces and solutions for user-friendly operation of AV systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to understand client requirements and offer tailored solutions
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues during project commissioning, on-site testing, and throughout system lifecycle
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, program code, and user manuals
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AV programming and integration

What we're looking for

  • Diploma in IT, Engineering, or Audio Visual related fields
  • Strong understanding of AV control systems (Crestron, AMX, Extron, Kramer, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in AV programming and system integration
  • Proficiency in programming languages used in AV systems (e.g., Crestron SIMPL, AMX NetLinx, or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience in similar renowned AV brands like Samsung, Crestron, Extron, BOSE, Ev, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, etc
